Purpose

The purpose of the Product Build Specialist is to successfully and seamlessly transition new clients from the Welcome Team to the Fulfillment Team, through the build process, and the ultimate launch of the product by managing clients, as well as internal and external processes related to the Dealer Inspire product/service suite including, (but not limited to), Conversations and Online Shopper. The Product Build Specialist is responsible for representing the Dealer Inspire brand as a product expert for clients and is charged with creating and maintaining excitement from build through launch while also gathering pertinent information to successfully transition the account to relevant internal teams. The Product Build Specialist is the paramount player for build completion adhering to product standards while completing builds in a timely fashion and ensuring the production pipeline is full and capable of meeting necessary revenue goals.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Main technical resource for clients during the build of Conversations and Online Shopper products
  • Primary point of contact to internal teams for product questions, concerns and troubleshooting to meet client needs
  • Create new client accounts in time tracking and project management tools
  • Confirm new client information is complete and accurate in Salesforce
  • Build Conversations and Online Shopper accounts to internal standard as well as to client specification
  • Knowledge and solid understanding of various Dealer Inspire products and services offered to provide assistance to clients as necessary
  • Communicate critical information to the internal team
  • Proactively and frequently communicate with clients via email and phone to ensure onboarding proceeds in a timely manner
  • Deactivate Conversations and Online Shopper accounts, enter proper cancellation data and remove third-party integrations for all cancellations
  • Maintain the Product Tracker with notes, OS updates, etc to ensure it will be an accurate, primary source of detail
  • Communicate with third-party vendors regarding scripts, inventory feeds and CRM functionality for relevant products
  • Ability to train or demo the product and fully understand its functionality
  • Maintain a high-level of confidentiality

Required Skills:

  • Ability to work well independently as well as with several internal teams and third-party vendors
  • Must adapt quickly to changes in process and priorities and work well under pressure
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid understanding of dealer terminology and processes as well as any relevant internal terminology and processes
  • Excellent time management, multi-tasking, organization and customer service skills
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Keen analytic, critical thinking and problem solving skills

Experience in or Ability to Learn:

  • WordPress
  • Conversations Dashboard
  • Online Shopper Dashboard
  • Product Trackers
  • Basecamp or other project management tools
  • Jira/Confluence
  • Salesforce
  • Google Docs, Sheets, Slides
  • FUEL
  • Experience and Education:
  • 4-year college degree
  • Project management, account management or related field
  • Auto industry experience helpful, but not required
