Job Description: 

The Salesforce Specialist is a full-time role that involves data management, report development, user training, business consulting, and general Salesforce administration. The Salesforce Specialist works with a team of Salesforce Specialists, Architects, and Developers to develop and implement solutions that support business goals.

The Salesforce Specialist will work closely with the Senior Salesforce Specialist to execute on the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of our CRM platform. You provide value to the business by automating complex business processes, creating reports & dashboards, and sharing your knowledge with our Salesforce users.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Completes routine tasks received from Salesforce Improvements request form (completed by business users)
  • Assists business users; answering questions in #salesforce Slack channel
  • Responsible for user management/licensing for Salesforce users
  • Produces and maintains centrally available dashboards
  • Data import/export activities, including required mapping, and data scrubbing, as required for individual data import/export requests
  • Performs regularly scheduled data quality checks and cleaning activities
  • Conducts user training sessions and communicates knowledge of the applications, system tools, and processes to all new and existing employees
  • Develops and maintains knowledgebase of Salesforce training materials for business users (internal teams)
  • Reports cases, and serves as a point of contact for any issues involving Salesforce Support
  • Collaborates with internal teams to understand their needs, recommending how our suite of tools can be best integrated into their daily work.


  • 1 - 2 years Salesforce experience as an end user or 6 months of experience as a Salesforce Administrator
  • Strong written and verbal communication

  • Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot

Bonus Skills:

  • Salesforce Certification or a strong Trailhead history a big plus
  • Customer service experience a plus
  • Data management experience a plus
  • System administration experience a plus
  • Familiarity with Dealer Inspire's existing department processes and workflows

Ability to Learn:

  • As much as possible about our business users; ability to pay off the SABWA habit (Salesforce Administration By Walking Around)
  • As much as possible about Salesforce through Trailhead and Trailblazer Community
  • As much as possible about our SF integrations and business intelligence tools, including but not limited to: Docusign, Xactly, SF Inbox, Pardot
, Insights Squared, Grow Dashboards, etc.
